If you’ve been to Birmingham in recent years—long enough to take in a quality meal—you know that their culinary scene is off the charts.
With multiple James Beard Award-winning chefs, restaurants, and restaurateurs, the Magic City has excellent eating options everywhere you turn. And Alabama Gulf Seafood, delivered straight from Alabama’s Gulf Coast, is a big part of that tradition—especially for those in the business who’ve embraced the farm-to-table movement.
That’s why Birmingham Restaurant Week (August 15-24) is one of our favorite times of the year.
For ten straight days, numerous restaurants offer great deals on delicious, creative dishes to encourage locals and tourists alike to sample all that Birmingham’s kitchens have to offer.
“We are pleased to offer this opportunity to residents of Birmingham and to the restaurants that serve our community,” said James Little, BRW director and district manager of REV Birmingham, the economic development organization behind this year’s event. “It is our hope that this 10-day event will draw attention to the top-notch locally owned dining opportunities right here in Birmingham.”
And if you’re looking for fresh Gulf seafood this year? We’ve got you covered.
